A little construction love (edition 5)

Here's your Thursday edition of the construction update at our Schamber Drive campus.  These pics were taken at 11:30 am today.

You're looking at the beginning of our new coffee bar.  It's on what used to be the Quest room wall.

The double door to the far right is into the new 1st-5th grade room, and the door to the left is into the new 2-3's room (the toilets won't stay there!)

You're looking at part of the 4-5's room, and the small room and doorway on the left side is one of the new kids' bathrooms.

 

This is the new entrance into the Women's bathroom.  A little more privacy ladies!

A little construction love (edition 4)

Okay, people here you go - a little construction love from our building edition/renovation.

Studs up for the auditorium wall/back stage - office.

The beam closest to the camera used to be the back wall of the auditorium.  We'll be switching the stage to the north side wall, so the large center section of seats will go between the two beams.

new bathroom plumbing and expansion - the urinal to the right is the urinal from the men's bathroom.

BREAKING NEWS

Construction has begun on our building!!  Walls are going up for the auditorium as we speak!  Woo-hoo!!

A little construction love (edition 3)

Installment #3 of our construction photos - this is about the finish of the demo - they are ready to start the construction and hopefully next week I'll have some pics of that.  Please keep praying for favor and that things would move swiftly.

A little construction love

Just wanted to give you an update via some pics of our building - they are just getting rolling, so it'll be fun to see what it looks like in a week.  I'll post more pics then.

Here comes the Boom!

Good news, as today, demolition and preparation began for our building reconstruction and addition.  Pretty excited to see people actually over there and working and things getting ready to really begin rolling!  I'm excited about what's in store for The Journey.  Meanwhile, this Sunday, don't forget we're meeting for one service at 10 am at Fruitport High School.  We're in the second week of our series "Why I Don't Pray".

P.S.  Just so you know, that's not actually our building.  We're not doing that much demolition!
