So, yesterday we talked about sex at The Journey. I thought it must have been a little bit of a strange experience for those who were first time guests!! I heard some good comments and funny ones. IBncluding some people talking about the next Journey Baby Boom. I also heard one parent who's teen said "awkward" at one point when it came to the 7 Day challenge. Then the parent said they were going to put a sign on their bedroom door all week that said "experiment in progress". Now, that's funny!!
Today, I'm passing along some great resources. In the days ahead, I'll be talking about what's not okay and what's okay for a Jesus follower, when it comes to sex. I'll also approach some hot button issues like sex toys, oral sex, etc. Plus, I'll answer some of the questions that we got through our connect cards.

Sheet Music by Kevin Leman is an especially good book if you grew up with a pretty strict background, or you feel like discussing and reading about this topic is a little out of your comfort zone. Practical, helpful but not too serious.
Love and Respect by Emerson Eggerichs. The subtitle is - "The love she most desires; the respect he desperately needs". I haven't read this yet, but I've heard lots of great things about this book from people I respect.
